How it works

Every order goes through your rules first.

MyTradingGuard intercepts orders before they reach your broker. If a rule is violated, the order is stopped — no partial fills, no second thoughts.

Every rule is optional. Enable only the ones that fit your trading style — use one, a few, or all. Each rule is fully customizable: set your own thresholds, times, and limits. Nothing is forced on you.

Time Windows
Only allow trading during your defined hours. Outside those windows, every order is blocked.

Cooldown After a Trade
Force a mandatory break after each completed trade. No more impulse revenge trades.

Overtrading
Limit how many trades you can take per day, or within a rolling time window. Once the cap is hit, trading stops.

Max Losing Trades
Stop trading after a fixed number of losses — total for the day or consecutive in a row. Prevent the snowball from growing.

Automatically block orders around high-impact economic releases (CPI, NFP, FOMC). Trading is paused 5 minutes before and after each event.

Allowed Tickers
Restrict trading to a whitelist of symbols. Only orders on the tickers you list are allowed — every other symbol is blocked. Stay focused on the one contract or equity you committed to.

No Averaging Down
Blocks orders that would add size to a currently-losing position. Enforces "add to winners, not to losers" — scale in only after the market confirms your direction.

You haven't broken any rules yet, but you think it's best to stop anyway? This button can block all next trades for the rest of the day.
